Cuadrilla’s Lancashire Fracking Plans Threaten Communities Across The UK
The threat of fracking has been hanging over the heads of Lancashire communities for 5 long years. The decision on test sites at Preston New Road and Roseacre is now in the hands of The Secretary of State. Cuadrilla’s contempt for communities and planning conditions is evident as the site at Banks opposite Doreen & Johns house is still there. Planing expires on the 31st October 2016 and the site remains un-restored, adding another breach to this long list…
The impact of any decision to allow fracking will extend far beyond the Lancashire sites. Communities across the UK would be exposed to risks from air and water pollution, millions of gallons of toxic waste and 10,000 of vehicle movements required to transport machinery and materials.
If you live near a fracking support site, on a transport route, near a proposed fracking site or in an area licensed for fracking now is the time to take action where you live. Please contact us outreach@frack-off.org for materials and support.
If you live in the UK and oppose fracking now is the time to take action. Communities in Lancashire need your help and support.
