IGas To Start Work At Nottinghamshire Fracking Site!
Fracking companies continue to exploit the UK planning system, creeping consent for projects opposed by local communities. Despite having no social licence to operate at Misson and having not yet received planning permission for fracking, IGas can now go ahead with work to prepare the site drilling up to 12 monitoring boreholes.
“Given that these boreholes will only be necessary if IGas are given permission to carry out exploratory drilling… it is our view that any decision to approve this application would amount to pre-determination of any subsequent planning applications”
