Fracking Industry Fails In Denmark As Community Resistance Grows
After two years Total has decided to to abandon its shale gas exploration plans in Denmark. Their first exploration well was suspended after just one day when it was discovered that Total had used “unauthorized” chemicals. They used a chemical referred to as ‘Null Foam’, that wasn’t approved by Danish authorities. Since then they have faced widespread social and political resistance. Read more…
