Council Receives First Planning Application For Fracking In Nottinghamshire

Fracking company IGas Energy Ltd have now submitted a planning application to Nottinghamshire County Council in preparation for attempts to extract shale gas from below the North Bassetlaw village of Misson. They plan to develop a wellsite and drill up to two exploratory shale gas wells (one vertically and one horizontally). See the site and application details here…
