Third Energy Holdings Limited is financed by private equity. It has several wholly owned subsidiaries, Third Energy Onshore Limited, Third Energy Offshore Limited and Third Energy Services Limited. Third Energy Onshore Limited is the owner of Third Energy UK Gas Limited (formerly Viking UK Gas Limited) and Third Energy Trading Limited (formerly RGS Energy Limited). Third Energy UK Gas Limited is the 100% license holder of production, development and exploration licences in North Yorkshire. Third Energy Trading Limited is the owner of the power generation station at Knapton in North Yorkshire.
