In 2012 Aberdeen Drilling Management (ADM) signed an agreement with Alkane Energy to explore for Coalbed Methane (CBM) in two licences in Nottinghamshire and Knowsley. In 2015 ADM was awarded two additional blocks in Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire as part of the 14th Onshore Licensing Round.
