Halsall Against Fracking – Seismic Survey Ramble Tomorrow!!!
Join Halsall Against Fracking on Sunday 10th July 10.30 am at the Saracen’s Head bridge. They will be walking to Lydiate along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal which runs alongside the edge of Aurora’s seismic survey area. All welcome; adults, children, dogs, ducks………

This is our second “protest” right along the edge of the survey area. More to follow!
Aurora Energy Resources are trying to carry out 3D seismic surveying. Landowners are being bullied into allowing these test to take place on their land, as refusing access would result in high court action, sanctioned by the Secretary of State.

The survey will be carried out by TESLA Exploration International and could begin within the next two weeks. The work is expected to take four to six weeks but must be finished by 15th August.
Tesla are now marking out survey lines, augering / drilling and pre charging shot points, layout of recording nodes, data acquisition using shot point firing and vibroseis works.
