BASF plc, has commissioned a new bio-acrylamide plant on its Bradford site in April 2016 to produce the key raw materials used to manufacture polyacrylamide products for the oilfield and mining industries. Polyacrylamide emulsion is one of the principle components of hydraulic fracturing fluid.
