The fight to protect The Forest of Dean from fracking is on!

Licences have been offered to fracking companies that cover a huge swath of the Forest of Dean. There is every opportunity to make these licences an incredibly unattractive prospect for the industry and the local authority. Visible, organised community opposition can kill the threat in the Forest of Dean.

The idea is to have two spaces within the West Dean Centre (in the centre of Bream, Forest of Dean) – one for ideas and creative activities such as family crafts/banner making (please bring anything you have to help with this), the other where we can relay info and also (equipment providing) show films and slides, and also pick up leaflets for you to distribute locally.
