The British Geological Survey has released figures estimating the amount of gas fracking companies could produce if the Midland Valley of Scotland was industrialised. Based on average well-production figures from the U.S. you can calculate that to get the amount of gas the BGS say is recoverable would erequire 7000 fracking wells in Scotland.
