From Alaska To New Zealand – UCG Solidarity Demo
Sunday the 11th October is a chance for communities everywhere to stand in Solidarity with Community groups from across Scotland. “Hands Over Our Forth” will see thousands of people join hands on the Forth Road Bridge to show their commitment to stop Underground Coal Gasificaton (UCG) projects planned for the Firth of Forth.

The UCG Industry Is A Global Threat
Communities across the globe are threatened by dangerous Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) projects. Linc Energy has projects in Wyoming, Alaska, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Tanzania, South Africa, Pakistan and Russia despite facing criminal charges after it’s Chinchilla test site in Queensland Australia polluted 320km2 of farmland.
Companies in the UK have been given 27 licence areas just offshore but close to major cities and areas of outstanding natural beauty. In the UK Cluff Natural Resources and Five-Quarter Energy are promoting the same experimental technology that has a proven track record of failure.
