Planning for this site appears to expire on Mon 11 Sep 2017.
Dart Energy managed to secure planning permission to drill at this site before the outcome of the Airth planning inquiry by threatening Falkirk Council and the RSPB with legal action. Dart have now been taken over by IGas, one of the largest fracking companies operating in the UK.
In theory IGas could drill at this site at any time they choose regardless of the outcome of the planning inquiry and appeal for the project at Airth. The village of Skinflats (population 300) and Bothkennar Primary School are just 800m away.
