Cuadrilla’s fracking site shutdown for day by community resistance – Lancashire communities are continuing to resist construction of a new fracking site by Cuadrilla Resources at Preston New Road near Blackpool, despite significant police repression. A rolling blockade of the construction is taking place daily outside the site and is having a significant effect in disrupting Cuadrilla’s plans.
