While hydraulic fracturing the PNR-1z well at Preston New Road in Lancashire a 0.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 3:45pm BST on Tues 23rd Oct 2018. The earthquake was close to the wellbore at a depth of about 3km. The earthquake was preceded by a number of smaller ones.
