While hydraulic fracturing the PNR-1z well at Preston New Road in Lancashire a 0.3 magnitude earthquake occurred at 3:59pm BST on Thurs 25th Oct 2018. The earthquake was close to the wellbore at a depth of about 2km. The earthquake was preceded by a number of smaller ones.
