Drilling contractor based in Deggendorf in Bavaria (a subsidiary of Max Streicher GmbH), which is supplying the drilling rig for Cuadrilla Resources’ flagship fracking project at Preston New Road in Lancashire. The VDD 370.1 Synergy 1 rig has previously be involved in drilling small scale conventional oil and gas wells in the Netherlands and Germany. The drilling rig is being shipped through the East Coast port of Immingham on the Humber Estuary from the Netherlands.
