While hydraulic fracturing the PNR-1z well at Preston New Road in Lancashire a 0.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 3:38pm BST on Weds 24th Oct 2018. The earthquake was close to the wellbore at a depth of about 3km. The earthquake was preceded by a number of smaller ones.
