Latest from Frack Free Ryedale: North Yorkshire County Council have written to Third Energy to request clarification on numerous issues, such as numerous problems with the traffic survey, the noise attenuation barrier, water and landscape issues, the lack of any meaningful ecological surveys, and much more besides. This means that the application will not be decided until February next year at the earliest, and the NYCC have pencilled in a committee hearing date for 9th February 2016.

There is a second round of consultations going on regarding Third Energy’s application to frack at Kirby Misperton, based on responses by Third Energy to questions by the NYCC.
