North Yorkshire Anti-Fracking Demo! – Malton Sat 25th April
On Saturday 25th April there will be a rally in Malton, North Yorkshire to show how strongly people in Ryedale feel about fracking. In order to send a message to fracking company Third Energy, a massive turnout is needed on the day – so please come along and help make this the biggest ever anti-fracking rally in Yorkshire!
It will be a fun family-friendly event, so please bring your kids, neighbours, friends – everyone! We will be assembling near Malton station at 12.00 then the procession will head to Castle Gardens, where there will be speeches, music, an information stall, refreshments, hay bales to sit on, and much more!
North Yorkshire is absolutely on the fracking front-line. Third Energy announced in late 2014 that they are intending to apply for permission to frack their existing KM8 well-site at Kirby Misperton in North Yorkshire. All details via Frack Free Ryedale.
