Big plans are afoot at Northern Petroleum’s Markwells Wood site… An extension has been granted for further exploratory work. This group is for discussion and organisation of resistance at Markwells Wood. Singleton site has already used conventional acid stimulation to extract oil. Shale Gas is the new target resource and potentially exists in the same geology deep below these sites. Existing conventional oil extraction sites are now primed for development into unconventional frack sites.
