Lancashire communities are continuing to resist fracking at Preston New Road near Blackpool, where Cuadrilla Resources has drilled of 2 shale gas appraisal wells and is now looking to carry out hydraulic fracturing. A rolling blockade is taking place daily outside the site and is having a significant effect in disrupting Cuadrilla’s plans.
