Lancaster Stands With PNR (This event has passed)

Lancaster fights fracking invite you to join us for some or all of the day to protest against cuadrilla and their fracking site at Preston New Road near Blackpool. We are hoping that people can offer lift shares, and the site is also reached by public transport (train to kirkham and wesham, followed by a short bus or bike journey) Parking is available at nearby World of Water or Maple Farm, where there is also food, a place to sit, and lots of information to be had.

Please bring a packed lunch, suitable outdoor clothing, a chair if you like and placards/ whistles/ instruments and most importantly your energy to support the activists that have been standing at the gates since work began in January.

Together we can stand and fight fracking here in Lancashire. Not only are we being insulted by the government’s failure to recognise local democracy, but we stand against the threat to our countryside and the climate of our planet.

Please share, invite your friends and come to PNR on 29th September to remind the frackers that #wesaidno !!
